BTA Catering
BTA Catering was founded in 1999 under the partnership of Bilintur, Tepe and Akfen in order to handle the food & beverage operation of the Istanbul Ataturk Airport's International Terminal.
Following the opening of the new International Terminal of Istanbul Ataturk Airport on the 10th of January 2000, all food & beverage operations of the terminal, both for the passengers and the terminal personnel, are managed by BTA Catering.

With its dedicated team of 1250 employees, 70% of whom have either college or bachelor degree. Employees are trained in tourism and hospitality management as well as in food & beverage services, and are chosen on their professional competency and proficiency to provide world standard food & beverage services at Turkey's gateway to the world.
BTA Catering, conscious of the importance of hygiene and customer service, has continuously developed its standards since it was founded. Human health and customer satisfaction monitoring are carried out in BTA under the supervision of the Food Engineers as well as its trained staff.
BTA Catering uses “Cook & Chill" technology that allows cooling meals down to microbiologically safe temperatures quickly, and to heat it when it is needed without disturbing its original taste and quality. Having been certified by ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2001, BTA Catering has also proved its 100% food safety and perfect food production dedication by its certification of ISO 22000:2005 (food safety management system).
The ISO 22000:2005 standard, which has been obtained by only a handful of organisations in the sector, is based on a procedure to eliminate potential hazards by identifying possible hazards at all stages from production to consumption.
BTA's main aim is to become a brand that is identified with Turkish hospitality and high quality food & beverage services with major emphasis on ultimate customer satisfaction and to extend its experience into other terminals.
Restaurants and Bars
Flags World of Food Restaurant
This restaurant offers a variety of Italian style fresh pasta dishes, kebab selections including meat and chicken doner, and a large variety of grilled meats and pitas and Turkish cuisine, with four main meal selections a day and a very wide variety of olive oil dishes, appetizers and desserts. The restaurant has a seating capacity of 280 and is open 24 hours a day, serving daily meals between 11.00 - 22.00 and breakfast between 22.00 - 11.00.
Burger King
Burger King, one of the major international fast-food chains, is situated on the Arrivals Mezzanine Floor and operates under BTA.
Efes Beer Port
Situated on the left just after passport checkpoint, Efes Beer Port is evocative of English pubs and is open 24 hours a day. The restaurant has a seating capacity of approximately 80 and it offers a wide variety of light snacks, salads and refreshments to be enjoyed before the flight in an exclusive and pleasant environment.
Sky Restaurant
The Sky Restaurant, where one can find food suitable to all tastes, is situated in the common area on the Domestic and International Departures floor.
The North Shields Pub
Passengers can relax, watch planes take off, drink coffee or a chilled beer at The North Shields Pub, located in the common area on the Domestic and International Departures floor. Decorated in its distinctive English style, The North Shields Pub is open between 08.00 - 22.30. The North Shields Pub not only offers a wide variety of alcohol and delicious food selections, but also the chance to watch TV on four plasma screens, two within the bar and two on the sides, as well as League TV.
Cafes
Gloria Jean's Cafe
Gloria Jean's Cafe, which offers 91 different types of coffee and a wide variety of cakes, is situated in two different locations on the Domestic Arrivals and Departures floors and is open 24 hours a day.
Cafe Crown
Cafe Crown offers a wide variety of alternatives and is situated on the International Departures floor.
Cafe Anatolia
Cafe Anatolia is situated on the right hand side of the International Arrivals floor. Location-wise the cafe is clearly visible for incoming visitors and people meeting passengers can therefore sit and wait here. The cafe is a meeting point for passengers and their greeters and can serve 100 people simultaneously.
Ankara Cafe
Situated on the Domestic Departures floor, to the immediate right of the check-in counters, the Ankara Cafe offers a wide variety of refreshments, fresh flan, croissants, dessert and a rich selection of sandwiches and is open 24 hours a day. Passengers can spend their free time in the Ankara Cafe, enjoying the view, as well as a variety of different and delicious foods.
Cafe Vadi
Cafe Vadi, which offers a wide variety of refreshments, fresh flan, croissants, desserts and sandwiches, is situated immediately after the passport checkpoint and is open 24 hours a day.
Kiosks
Situated close to flight gates and offering sandwiches and cocktails, the kiosks are the last stops for food consumption before the flight. The kiosks are generally open for service at flight times and closed at other times.

International Kiosks: Golf, Sarı, Kırmızı
Coca-Cola Bus Gate
Situated on the International Departures floor, after the passport checkpoint, the Coca-Cola Bus Gate can be reached via the escalator going down to the service floor.
Douwe Egberts Bus Gate
Situated on the Domestic Departure floor, Douwe Egberts Bus Gate can be reached via the escalator going down to the service floor.
